34 weeks today with my boy. Feeling: Exhausted every day, sore. Uncomfortable. Emotional. Overwhelmed & scared. Positives: I'm growing a human inside of me. I have spent 34 weeks growing a completely new human. How amazing is that? How amazing to feel his kicks and rolls and flips. How amazing to hear his heart beat. To know I've created this. To know that in about a month I'll be holding my son. To know I have the capability to hold my son safely in my tummy even when I thought I couldn't and wasn't worthy. Life is so beautiful and I've never felt so grateful for something in my entire existence as I do the ability to grow this healthy baby inside of me.
I really really hate the fact that I got stretch marks on my boobs. And it kinda bothers me when mommas tell me they are something to be proud of because it's my baby tattoos or my proof I was growing a miracle...I'm pretty sure once my son is in this world with me HE will be the proof I grew a miracle inside me. I know they try to make me feel better about it but there really is nothing beautiful about stretch marks! No matter how you put it.

Ok I know I've done a few of these but my friend posted this on FB and we're getting some hilarious results. This was my last text:
My MIL saw my bump post on fb and two minutes later decided to write her own post about her “excitement” for holding MY baby in her arms the second he’s born... uhm, NOPE.🙅🏻♀️ I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you were the one who actually grew a human inside of you for 9 months, so that gives you the right to be the first to hold MY son right? 🤦🏻♀️ Ugh. 🙄 Little does she know, she won’t be seeing my son every day like she thinks she is. 🙄🤷🏻♀️
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
