Braxtonhics are almost as painful as regular contractions. your belly will tighten up, you'll feel like you're cramping, like right before you get your period. then it'll settle down. everyone is different. some feel it in their back, some in their stomach, some in their pelvic area. if you can time ot, it's contractions. if it's all over the place, it's not the real deal. hope I could help

excruciating period like cramps lasting for a certain amount of time, stopping for a certain amount of time & starting back up. mine lasted a minute & were 3 minutes apart. just bad bad period cramps.

Braxton Hicks are inconsistent. contractions are anywhere from 2-5 minutes apart.
