I have had one ultrasound my entire pregnancy. I will get my last one at 36 weeks which will tell if the baby is in the downward position. But, I know plenty of mommas who have had many more ultrasounds than I have.

3. 1 to see how far i was, the anatomy scan, and one when i went to the er for bleeding. they were all at or before 20 weeks.

I had 2. One to confirm pregnancy and the anatomy scan at 20 weeks. I have a low risk pregnancy so my dr won't do more. It will vary by doctor and if you are high risk, etc.

I've had like 11 and 3 of them were elective 4d

I payed extra to have a 3d 4d HD ultrasound. Well worth it. Plus they gave me video of baby and heartbeat

I get 1 to check how far along I am 1 for gender/anatomy and 1 in the 3rd trimester to check baby's position and fluid. My doctors office doesn't do 3D/4D ultrasounds. I have to go to a studio and get one done and pay out of pocket for it. If your not high risk you usually do t get a ton of ultrasounds.

@mothernaturexx4, A LOT!!!!! Over 20! Hahha but mine is a different circumstance! My doctor will switch over to 3D during them. Just ask and sometimes they can!

I'm gonna ask my next appointment about the 3D/4D I have medicaid so I know they will cover it if anything @mluvs7 @purpledpink

I have medi Cal..... N I was impatient so I didn't mind paying.... Groupon has good deals sometimes

@mothernaturexx4, Medicaid is getting strict about ultrasounds. I had to fight with him about it with my first son. Now, they will only pay for 3 unless it's medically necessary 😬 I only had one threw the hospital cause of it. Thankfully my dr has a ultrasound machine and gave me one at 6 weeks, & 29 for 3D but he couldn't see anything /:

i've had 3 ultrasounds and for 3d/4d you pay for on your own. insurance doesn't cover it
