If I were to sit on my trampoline and bounce on my butt up and down would that kinda stimulate the same thing you'd get from doing it on a yoga ball?

I took a class and we had to bring our balls and the instructor said that the way we had to sit opened our pelvis more and accompanied with the bouncing is what makes the difference.
