Since I've lost my supply I've been giving my baby breast milk that I stored away in the freezer from when she was first born for the past two days she's been spitting it up and a lot. All day she's been eating cause she never gets full since she's always spitting up. Idk what's going on and it's getting a little frustrating. When I was pumping this milk for her at that time it didn't seem to upset her then but now she just can't keep it down. This breast milk journey has really been so stressful and my baby is hungry and upset

@cubanese, I've always pace fed. I burp her after every ounce. And she burps fine too. I'm so frustrated and don't know what's going on. She hasn't napped all day and is really irritable.

@cubanese, yes I'm so stressed out. I've been cuddling with her all day and she has just been crying or screaming. I just gave her formula a hour ago and now she's finally asleep but now I have this whole freezer full of milk that I want to put to use but she's not keeping it down. I need to get donor milk asap and see if she'll keep that down.

breastmilk can change tastes in the freezer she may not like the way it tastes anymore

i would suggest try giving her the stuff that isnt as old it could just be that the oldest stuff is bad and sour

@cubanese, okay I see I boil it sometimes and let it sit out other times I've been taking it the night before to thaw out in the fridge. And I had to give her the formula cause she's starving and wasn't keeping the breast milk down it was my last resort

@kyleigh96, it's from October. I thought breast milk was good for 3 months in the freezer

Hopefully she's better tommorrow and you don't have to waste all that precious milk. I understand how much it is to get milk lol I tell Amari "we no waste the boobie milk"

Poor mama. Ethan drinks his stored milk with no problem. I'm now on my May supply. I would donate if I used to pump like I did before cause I've donated twice but I'm holding on to what I have for now. As long as she's fed that's ok. You did you best.

And boiling breastmilk will kill all the. Nutrients in it boo. @amaperalta03

And breastmilk is good up to one year in a deep freezer. In the refrigerator freezer is 3-5 months I think.

@cubanese, should I smell the milk to to see if it had a foul smell ? I haven't smelled anything. It then again I haven't gone out my way to smell it
