sooo question; if my husband can't be there when the baby is born, he clearly won't be able to sign the birth certificate. SO how does it work? I'll just have to wait? or?

I believe you can just wait.(: but ask your OBGYN! She/He will definitely know for sure!

my husband wasn't there to sign it. the lady said all I need was one person to sign and it didn't matter who. he is on the birth certificate though, like his name saying he is the father.

I know for us they gave me a paper/packet thing for his lawyer to take to him to sign, if he wants to be on the certificate. Or there should be a person in there he can ask about signing a paper to be on the certificate. Not exactly sure how it works there, but that's what I was told for my boyfriend.
