So worried :( having sharp pains in my stomach so they're bringing me in this afternoon to try to find the heartbeat on the Doppler and if they can't find it then I'll have an ultra sound

Don't panic if they can't find the heartbeat. I went in for a regular appointment at 10 weeks and they couldn't find the heartbeat with the Doppler. Sent me in for an ultrasound and everything was good :). Lots of times they have difficulty finding the heartbeat using the doppler before 12 weeks

it will probably be too early to find the heartbeat with the doppler. normally they just do an ultrasound that early on instead of scaring the mom.

@ssdj4, I was so shocked! But I'm so happy we heard the heartbeat through the Doppler! Definitely calmed my anxiety a little bit @shellbell0391
