yes. some hives happen when kids are sick. My oldest is like that. She can get a cold and boom hives ever where. She even had it on her eyelid. it was the scariest thing. They gave her a steriod that day because they got worried it would go into her eye. but if its not on the eye its okay. aveeno oatmeal baths, icepacks, benedryl and aveeno anti itch should do the trick
