My dad and Raven.

I'm thankful that my parents, although divorced for 14 years, can get along and spend holidays together. My dad drives four hours (round trip) to spend holidays with us and he even goes camping with us every year.

It always baffles me when a woman refuses to get along with her ex. My dad physically abused my mom their entire marriage and she forgave him for the sake of their children and they are now friends. She is the strongest woman I know for that.
