okay y'all...I need y'alls opinions. Especially if you're a twin mom.
I heard what I swore heard two heart beats in unison the other day. Now for the last 3 days I've heard to separate heart beats. One under my belly button about and inch or so to the left pointing the wand up and one way over by my right ovary pointing the wand up. We've done 2 ultrasounds (6 and 10 weeks) and only saw 1 baby. Could it be the same heart beat? Or is there a chance that it could be twins and one was just hiding in ultrasound? I am huge for 14w3d and feel A LOT of movement.

@britt16, it's def not my heart beat. My shows at about 120. these two are bouncing back and forth between 152 and 165

The more pregnancies you have the earlier you tend to feel movement and get a bump. I was just thinking it could be your heart beat.

It still could be. I had heard mine a few times when I was pregnant and thought twins. Or it could be the baby's echoing. @mrslasyone

Both heart beats sound alike in cadence. Mine is much slower.

maybe so @mcrowell0970. I can usually feel the movement and def hear it on the doppler. But if he/she is shifting its little self from side of my belly to the other in the time it takes me to move my wand back and forth 4 or 5 times. I'm gonna be in trouble lol

if they only saw one baby in the ultrasound, odds are there is only one baby. baby's heartbeats tend to fluctuate and if they move while you are listening to the heartbeat and you have to find them again it could seem like the heartbeats are in 2 spots. at my last appointment I watched the doppler go between 145-155 beats per minute with my daughter. but if you have a gut feeling there is 2, you should be able to tell at the anatomy scan

@kmharr3, my levels tripled instead of doubled when they check them early. I can't understand why we wouldn't see 2 if there is indeed 2 but I've felt there is something different about this pregnancy. I just want to know like now lol. I may go to one of those 3d ultrasound places and get it done before I'm 20 weeks lol

Babies can hide .. trust me. I've heard stories of a second baby hiding all the way until birth, with a synchronized heart beat with the other baby.

@thismakesthree, I've heard of that too. At first it was synchronized now I'm hearing a heart beat on both side of my stomach. along with my own heart beat which is much slower. I just want to know lol without having to wait another 5 weeks.
