Just curious. how long after you give birth does your cycle start back. I know you can still get pregnant during your six week recovery ...but when am I going to get the surprise visit from Aunt Flo ?

after I gave birth I bled for about a month because that what's my doctors say, they said it wasn't my cycle it just something that happens after birth. but my cycle started the next month like normal but last longer then usual. so be prepared for more days then what your used too

Are you breastfeeding? Breastfeeding can cause your cycle to delay for months.

I'm exclusively breastfeeding my daughter and I just got my period this month, eight months after I gave birth. But like @modified_mommy18 said, I bled for a good month or so immediately following birth, but then didn't have a cycle until just now.
