my 3 yr old lost her sippy cup yesterday. She refuses to drink out of anything else. She's drank maybe six ounces of fluid today. She's had the same pull up on all day. Couldn't get her another one today because nothing around here was open. The rest of the family says she needs to get off the sippy anyway and aren't concerned with her lack of fluid intake. They say she will drink when she's thirsty. I'm sure this is true for most kids, but she is autistic and clearly isn't drinking when she is thirsty.

I would love it if anyone has any ideas on getting her off the sippy without hitting dangerous dehydration territory. I've offered her every type of cup I can think of. Even different sippy cups. Her teeth are in very bad shape. Dentist says it's because she sleeps with a sippy. The reason why I haven't already got her off the sippy is because any time I've tried she just stops drinking anything.
