So we just moved and the friends we where planning on attending thanksgiving with decided to go out of town last minute. So now i get no thanksgiving dinner. I am so upset but im just stay off social media so i don't have to see everyone's food. 😫

Do you perhaps have a Cracker Barrel or a restaurant like that near you? It's not the same but they make pretty good food and they're open.

Yes we do, but i just plan on making a small thanksgiving dinner for the two of us this weekend. But thank you for the advice @bonniesue

I don't blame you my moms not coming she's staying home with my lol brother and grandmother. I'm in tears I haven't spent Thanksgiving with my mom in 4 years now

@mynewson2017, this is my first time complete not celebrating the holiday on thanksgiving day but, i have not been with my actual family in 3 years for thanksgiving. It is hard when there so far away to travel over the holidays. Maybe plan a dinner on another day and just get everyone together you want to see. It usually works out great this way and saves some money on travel. 😊 I hope you still have a great thanksgiving 🍁

@mynewson2017, oh I have a similar situation in my family. I have stop caring about others feelings, i would go see and enjoy my mother. Life is to short no matter how young or old she may be. Even if people will be shady. You would get to enjoy the company of your mother. Don't let how other people feel stop you from having a relationship or see your mom over a holiday. Besides she is your grandmother and needs to grow up.
