My 10 week old has been fighting a stuffy nose for a few nights and tonight it's just gotten really bad. Poor babe is struggling to breathe at all. We have electric heating in the house which dries up the air and last few nights I thought that may have been the factor (waiting to buy a humidifier). But tonight with no heating on he's stuffed up badly, guessing he's defo caught a cold.
Unfortunately Husband does night shifts so I'm going to be up all night with Zaid. Husband won't be back with the Nasal spray etc. Till 7.30am....
Don't know how I'll cope tomorrow since I have to be awake and alert to take care of him all day tomorrow too.
Anyone know how I can help him breathe??
Everytime I lay him flat he struggles. I can't do the whole saline drops and suck it out rn because it's 3am and I don't have a Nasal aspirator. I was thinking of using vicks but apparently that's way too harsh for my 2 month old. Sigh.

@charlotteandharry omg my husband just said to me, I saw this calpol plug in thing but I didn't get it because it seemed like a gimmick! Lol. We got snuggle baby vapour oil and Nasal spray and Nasal aspirator.

If you have a bath you can kill two birds with one stone. Put your little one in the bathroom with you ( in a bouncer) while you have a bath. The steam help loosen everything and u get to have a bath x

100% get the plug in. They clear my nose! x

Mix Vicks or eucalyptus oil in a cup half filled with water and set it in the room at night. Or else put a bit on a tissue and keep it close by (out of arms reach). My little ones the same, must be the colder weather xx
