It's like holiday time and my SO drives trucks but he only comes home on the weekend. So I'm all alone in an empty house and I mean that literally. We are waiting for our furniture to come in so it's like only bedroom furniture. I couldn't even decorate our living room with holiday decor if I wanted to. And I feel like he's such a grinch and not affectionate enough. @mrs.n2014 @royallioness
@beautytorrey, my SO is a truck driver to he was supposed to get home today but his fleet manager fucked him over so now we dint know if he will make it at all its not easy to be the gf or wife of a trucker its pretty lonely sometimes
@aaquino, yes it does get very lonely sometimes. And it's like I know he'll be home on the weekend but I feel like even if he was here he wouldn't be excited about thanksgiving and he thinks it's corny to make Christmas stockings and he is just a grinch and I don't need that negative energy
@beautytorrey, omg my SO is a grinch tooooooo like he doesnt see the point in christmas decorating its annoying to him that i want a christmas tree like he hates every hoilday lol i just buy it anyway and ignore him cause i like the holidays and we have 1 baby and another on the way i dont want either of them to hate the holidays too!
That's my whole thing @aaquino like don't make our son (on the way) be a grumpy version of you just bc you don't like the holidays. This is the time of year we come together and just really really enjoy each other. He didn't come up in a house where it was a fun time on Christmas so it's like he's still in that kind set but I'm not and I want it to be enjoyable for us all or I will exclude him for every holiday.
@beautytorrey, i completely understand cause thats exactly how my SO is his mom didnt celebrate any holidays she would say she never had the money so he just doesnt give a crap about holidays
