Called my dad today over an insurance issue. He was disappointed because I didn't call him to tell him I was in labor. 😂 I thought you weren't happy that I was having a baby? With your lying ass! Way too excited for his grandson now that it's almost time. Trying to play it off like he's not jumping out of his skin in anticipation. 🙄 I see right through him.

my dad was the same way, wouldn't talk about it or anything and always changed the subject. then like 2 months before my due date he started asking all the time "when are you gonna have my grandson?" now he's completely in love lol

@ssdj4, I'm loving it. He gave me a hard time but the fact of it all is that I'm married, living on my own, and paying my own bills. So having a baby isn't a big deal for me at this point. I'm glad he's coming around.
