I honestly wants to stay with my mother after I have my baby for the 6 weeks.. I know she will help me, and guide me on things I need to be guided on IF NEEDED. If i go home my SO will be going straight back work because he can't take his leave right away and me and our child will be all alone with no help. But I know that's something he will not be going for because then he's going to feel like I'm taking his child and the experience of being a parent away from him and he's going to want me home ugh. But he's not as helpful as I know my mother would be. I just feel more comfortable with her + she's a nurse. She would know what to do if anything was to go wrong.

I wish I had my mom to help and guide me. I mean its not bad its just the first Couple weeks I worried bout everything! if she was eating just the right amount and if it was often enough things like that. i read books and asked my dr alot of questions bc i was worried. I think you should try and have your mom to help, whether there or your home, it'll relieve you of a lot of worry

I didn't have ANYONE but my hubby. he took off for about a month after I had her & a month before but he was hardly any help with the baby. he helped with my dogs & house some but that's it. our baby wanted me only. lol now she wants him but she's two months so for the first couple of months I was on my own. I wish my momma would have came & helped but she was in houston taking care of her sick mother. I would try to get her to come stay with y'all if I were u..
