Yeah I've had it done 2 times. This is not to freak you out but just my experience. First time in 2012, they found abnormal cells. I ended up having precancerous cells, so then had to have them removed by LEEP surgery. Super easy out patient surgery that removed a small portion of the cervix. Painless pretty much. Just glad they found that early or else that could've turned into cancer. The other time I had a biopsy, everything was fine in the end. I still get terrified every time I get a pap though

The biopsy doesn't hurt, it's quick. It's uncomfortable, that's about it

@snozzberries, ok thank you I didn't wanna google it cause I would of got the worse ever, I just never heard of it until my dr called me say my pap came back abnormal and me cells were off 😭 it's so weird how your body changes after a baby

Yeah, it's unsettling hearing that. Mine was long before I had a baby so hopefully nothing comes back. And what @ahauge6 is saying is true, except it's not as painful as it sounds! You'll be okay! It takes just as long as a pap so not long at all
