Feels like such a struggle with Florence bless her, finally sleeping better at night in her crib between feeds but now she's so grizzly and cries a lot during the day! Feel like I spend so much time trying to settle her I get nothing done and she's so unsettled, keep assuming it's wind as she never seems to bring much up after feeds! So confused feel like I'm doing something wrong and not helping her feel comfortable and happy! She's 6 weeks on Monday and I'm hoping as she grows she'll settle better bless her x

@suzie80, it's frustrating isn't it, guess they are just tiny and it will get better x no consolation now though is it!

Max was so similar as a newborn up until 5/6 weeks when his winding issues seemed to calm down. It was very exhausting but I had to put him down to get on with stuff now & then. I couldn't hold him all day having a toddler to look after as well. He's a different baby now. Much more content & he'll happily entertain himself for little periods of time. It will get better! Just keep in mind it won't last forever...

If it's her reflux hopefully you'll start to see a change now she's being treated for it. They usually grow out of other winding issues by 12weeks I think I read. I was very lucky than Max did sooner! He used to cry unless he was feeding or asleep lol. I find the first month or 2 is definitely the hardest! Adjusting to the continous feeding and settling.

@sara-lou, your so right, is just forgotten I think, although my lil boy who is not so little anymore (13) was quite a good baby, but I do remember the first 4-8 weeks being hard. Hopefully by Xmas we will be a bit closer to a more settled Florence!!! On the plus side I'm getting cheeky lil smiles from her here and there which makes it worth it xx

Olivia is up refusing to be winded feeding near constant breast then bottle from about 8-9 till 4am and crys when u try to put her in the cot. But during the day winds fine and sleeps in the cot only wakinggn every 3 hours.
