um a expecting mom and I also have a 2 year old. is it me or does it feel really awkward, trying to hang out or socialize with friends who's kids are either grown or they have no children? went for brunch with a friend who's quite older and her children are grown , I had to take my baby since it's only his dad and I and no other help. she invited me and the baby but was quite uncomfortable for me, especially when my son started to display a little terrible 2 behavior.

Yes! I feel like I'm being judged by my friends who don't have children/older kiddos. I choose to not see them lol

my world pretty much revolve around being a mommy, so it's really uncomfortable hanging out with people that don't have small children. my baby is just 2 and I'm expecting another also. the person I hung out with she's older, her kids are grown we dont really know each other so didn't expect her to see it as no big deal, me having a toddler there. just very uncomfortable.
