Do whatever you can to stay hydrated. Gatorade, broth, juice, jello, watermelon, ginger ale. Whatever is palatable to you and take as much as you can. The biggest danger when you're vomiting and have diarrhea is dehydration.
They can last anywhere from 24hours to a week. I would recommend making a fresh ginger tea. Cut up fresh ginger root add some water add a cinnamon stick for flavor and honey for sweetness let that cook till it's golden brown. you can add a squeeze of lemon 4 Citrus and vitamin C. let that cook a little more I personally add fresh mint leaves and cook them till wilted then just strain it and put it in a cup and drink it. Ginger is a natural anti nausea and the mint leaves will help soothe the stomach as well.
