So we live with my in laws and we pay half the rent and one of their sons lives there for free. He's 19 years old, smokes pot, drinks, and buys tons of things but he doesn't pay rent, so I told my husband he needs to talk to his parents because we need to save money so we can move out. He finally talked to the mom and she got mad and so today she told us that instead of paying 500 we can pay 400 and we have two months to move out.. like wtf how is that possible? I'm looking for a second job because the first one isn't enough, but how do you expect us to move out in 2 months and yet we still have to pay 400 each month?? So I'm thinking of talking to my husband and telling him that we shouldn't pay rent at all and save the money so we can move out, cause if we're paying them that money that what are we really saving?

Nope, but the thing is when I wasn't with my husband he shared a bedroom with that brother and my husband was paying 200 every check so that's 400 a month and this guy pays nothing? He eats out food, we have two fridges and he eats from mine, like he comes home and smokes pot in the patio and it goes to my room. So my point is like why doesn't he pay rent?

@leahsmommi, yes he's 19. My husband was 18 when he started paying his own rent and this guy is already 19 and still not doing what he's supposed to.

@pinkleopard, I know that's what everybody is telling me to not pay rent cause I'm the end we're not saving anything but my husband just doesn't understand where I'm coming from. His mom used him as her personal bank and everyone sees it, I've tried telling him for so long until recently he finally told his mom. The 19 year can and buy new things but can't pay rent so I've been complaining about and they come out with 2 months for us to move out

@mommy1915, you must go online and look for closest place to you or where you want to move. get assistance pretty much. ita takes time but it will be worth it, you can only take so much where you at before you "crack"
