So I've said before my daughter was born I wanted to try and break her from a binky by 6 months, she will be 6 months on the 13th of December.
Well, today she did really did, hasn't cried for it or anything.. and i live with my daughters father and his grand mother, well his grandmother is the type that she just wants to take over and be mommy her self and it really irritates me. Well tonight she was burping my daughter and she made a tiny fuss so she gave her the binky AFTER I told her we were trying to break her from it, and I said no I don't want her to have it right now she doesn't need it, she just needs to burp and she said oh well I'm giving it to her. Like please stop, this is my daughter, your kids are grown up , let me parent MY kid.
God I can't wait to move out of here and get our own place soon. 😑

@babykinzliee2k16, hide all the Binky's from Grandma too, I had to do it with my husband and stepson. my baby's are 3yr & 2yr old and they are well over due to get rid of the Binky's. I had to brake everyone's binky habit

my MIL tries to do everything too.. like BACK UP!!! she's constantly making snide remarks about my parenting, our rules or What have you.. and here's the kicker, she literally Laughs after she says it.. all I did was complain to my husband about it.. he finally told her to do it OUR way or she wasn't gonna be involved anymore... for the most part, that worked. best of luck mama!! that shits def frustrating!!
