Doctor said today my belly is measuring a bit above average and I may have to go for a growth scan.…

I think it's odd that they are wanting to do that this late in the game for you. normally if it isn't an issue around the time of your anatomy scan they don't do anything about it

@ssdj4 they didn't start measuring my belly until last visit

I had continuous growth scans... almost every 2 weeks at the end. I was high risk though.

@bonniesue, what do they do if the baby is measuring too big? Like what does that mean?

Well, my son measured up to 4 weeks ahead. They never adjusted my due date though. I went into labor naturally at 37w5d. But if not they would have induced me or made me get a c section. I think it just matters why the baby is measuring bigger (my fiancé and I are both tall)

I had a growth scan too because he was measuring too big. I was induced 2 weeks early due to preeclampsia but he was 7lbs at that point. Just making sure he's healthy with nothing concerning :) also can determine if should schedule a c-section or not. Nothing to worry about :) you know everything pretty fast so you're always in the loop
