How old should babies be to stay the night over family members house. (also if they live 1hr half…

My son is a year old and the longest he's been without me is 3 hours and that was around 11 months. I think it depends on your comfort. My son won't be spending the night away from me for a long time

so should I just have the baby daddy stay over our place for the first year if he wants to see baby. cause he also lives same distance away. @bonniesue

I guess whenever you feel comfortable. My son is staying at his grandmas for awhile week while I'm at the hospital for my scheduled c-section for his baby brother. He will be 4 hours away. I am anxious and so nervous but I have no choice. It makes me so sick just thinking about it.

Like I said, it depends on your comfort. Some women give birth and let their family take the baby over night right away. The first year everything is so new and I think lots of mom's need to have full control. I'd at least offer that to him as an option if things aren't bad between you

unless it's my mother my twins won't be going anywhere until they can talk and tell me things. but use your own judgment.

I let my first stay with my fiancee mom and sister from when he was a couple of months. only because she had cancer and wanted to have him around more since we didn't live close. My daughter just started about 3 months ago but she only stays with my mom.
