Main dishes! What are your foods that are a necessity for your family at thanksgiving, Christmas and any other holiday dinner/lunch?
Tell me if I'm wrong here. My husband's sil has covid. She's obviously quarantining in her house but is still loving on her kids and husband. I'm sorry but if I had it I would lock myself in a room. She hasn't gotten her kids tested... they're obviously doing the whole remote learning and quarantining for two weeks but she plans to send them back without testing them on the Monday after Thanksgiving 😬😱. My husband thinks I'm overreacting but I told him I don't want to see them on Christmas. I'm in the middle of iui cycles and don't want to risk this. Besides I don't think I could sit in a room with her knowing how irresponsible she has been not only with her family's health but those that are coming into contact with her and her family.
Are you getting together with family for thanksgiving or doing your own dinner?
My family growing up always ate Thanksgiving dinner early, around 3pm and I hated it. I plan my Thanksgiving dinner to be done around 5:30 which is normal dinner time for us. Does anyone else eat around your regular dinner time? Just wondering since most of my family thinks it weird. 😂
