I have the worst feeling albie has lactose intolerance 😩 me,my brother, my mum and my grandad all have it (apparently it's common in our ethnicity which is Hong Kong ) my brother had it the worst out of all us so I grew up watching him suffer and the way albie has been recently e.g. Screaming in pain, pushing his tummy out and throwing up it's all the same signs he's also been making a strange noise that is coming from his nose/back of the throat at first we thought it was a cold because it started in sept but it hasn't gone away or got better? Could it be teething or anyone else with lactose intolerant kids have the same affects or is this something else?

sounds very much like my Evelyn X we thought it was just reflux but doctor suggested she may have a milk intolerance so trialed her on hypoallergenic milk and it's worked wonders X a lot less screamy and sicky x

@mimibear, it's defo not reflux I've seen it before and it's not the same I'm 100% it's milk because when I put him onto hungry baby which is filled with more lactose he was constantly sick I've now put him onto stage 2 and it's no better I'm going to get a emergency docs tomorrow because I've usually got a angel baby but recently he's been a different baby and I don't want him to end up like my brother who went a year In pain because the docs fobbed him off as a unhappy baby when I went docs last time he told me there's nothing he can do for the noise he was making he said it may turn into a chest infection but what do you want me to do? I was like don't know your the doctor but it's been 6 weeks like it (this was 6 weeks ago) and not improving it's now been 12 weeks like it

yeah sounds very much like Evelyn X she used to make the same noise too. she's literally been a different baby on this milk. I would ask doctors if you could trial him on it especially if it runs in the family! my mum has just been diagnosed after years of suffering so I'm guessing this is where Evelyn gets it from X

@holliesinead, yeah she had it constantly which made feeding difficult because they breath through their nose X it would also make her choke a lot too X
