I am not trying to scare anyone. I was induced in September. Everyone told me it would be more painful than not induced. They put a tablet up in my cervix two times. And I started to dilate quickly. And I was getting contractions and they were horrible. This was my first child so I had no idea about anything. All I know was that the contractions made me feel like I was dying a slow and painful death. I had IV pain medication and a shot of the same pain medication. That did nothing. Then I had an epidural put it. They messed it up and had to DO THE EPIDURAL AGAIN. It hurt so bad the first time oh lord I just wanted to die that's how much pain I was in. All of Grayson's heart rate and everything was fine through all of this. The only thing the epidural did was make me unable to move my legs. I could still feel everything. And my husband and my mom were with me the whole time. I had apologized to them in advance because I can say pretty nasty things when I am in pain or annoyed. And the nurses I had were so nice. But it really annoyed me when my main nurse kept telling to just breathe through the pain. And go with it. I could have told her where she can go!!!!!!!!!!! And she kept telling me not to push when I was saying I seriously need to push. Grayson's head was WAY DOWN THERE ready to come out. And she wouldn't let me push for an hour. And then I finally could push during every contraction. And I was pushing as hard as I possibly could. And I felt like Grayson was never coming out. And I was exhausted and pissed off and in so much pain. My husband and mom helped hold my head and leg up. And finally after 15 hours of labor and 45 minutes of pushing, Grayson finally arrived in the world on September 12th 2016. In Beth Israel hospital in Boston. I was being stitched up afterwards for almost an hour. It was terrible but it was worth it. But I am sorry if this offends someone but I would never go through that again. And the Grayson had to stay in the NICU for what felt like forever. The hospital kicked me out of my room. When I was still in so much pain. And we had to sleep in a closet like room. Me and my mom and my husband. Grayson ended up getting necrotizing entrocolitus. Because the doctors think he was allergic to the formula. And he was bleeding from his bum and intestines. And they said he had really bad veins and they tortured him trying to take blood and get an IV in him. Poor thing. And my mom paid for the hotels in Boston that we stayed at while Grayson was still in the NICU. The hotel beds were awful and made me in even more pain. I should have been in the hospital getting pain medication because I was seriously in that much pain. Then they actually let Grayson come home. And we were all so excited and relieved. There was more to the story in there somewhere. But this is the main parts of the story. and Grayson has Down's syndrome and he still has the two holes in his heart and will need open heart surgery to repair the holes.
