Ready to give up breastfeeding. I'm not technically breastfeeding because I have to pump and bottle feed her until we can get her tongue tie fixed, but I'm just so ready to give up. Literally was getting 3 oz out of each breast and now I'm down to only 1 oz out of the left and 2 oz out of the right. I'm just so frustrated because I have to do it all with no help.

Have you tried using a nipple shield and feeding baby from your breast? My son also has a tongue tie and that's how I did it. The nipple shield allows them to get proper latch and you won't have pain. Much easier than pumping.

Try to stick with it!! Great advice @bonniesue! I have never used a nipple shield but the benefits of breastfeeding are so good for our little ones! Stick with it Mama!!

@bonniesue yeah, they have me using a shield when I put her to my breast because I guess I have flat nipples. She likes to slide to the end of the nipple, no matter how I try to keep her at the base of it and it causes sores, So my lactation consultants want to get it fixed and then reevaluate her latch.

@sammysmilezm9 im trying, it just gets frustrating when I have to pump and feed her all myself. my SO sleeps through everything and I've asked him to help, but he just falls right back to sleep

yea I feel you on the pumping factor/ my son started biting and I was just goimg to try and give him bottles but it really is hard. Props to you mama for doing all by yourself, it really does take a village to raise a little one!!
