Jaxtyn just had his 3rd blow out within 24 hrs, when should this be considered something to worry about? He is EBF and 9 months old. I'm just worried it could be diarrhea and he may get dehydrated. He has a double ear infection and is on amoxicillin so I'm not sure if that is one of the side effects.

My daughter just had one n was on amoxicillin too her ped said for me to expect looser stools. As long as he's eating well & seems okay I wouldn't worry too much. And if it will ease your mind you can give him some pedialyte

The meds and also ear infection can mess up their bellies, she had loose stools but also threw up 3-4 times in the course of the 10 days of the combination I guess 😑 I kept calling every day & they told me not to worry... I still did lol 😅😅

It's hard not to! I would be freaking running JJ to the ER if he was throwing up 😅 @bria

@babyjjsmommy, antibiotics will cause loose stools, I always had to give my little a probiotic with his antibiotics.

I know he's 9 months but give him a lot of cerial if he'll take it. it'll help some with the poops but my little guy just got done teething and he would poop 4 times a day for about 2 weeks. as long as he doesn't seem bothered besides with his poor little ears I wouldn't worry too much

@purpledpink, that's a good idea. And @logibearsmum he doesn't eat cereal for real. He'll eat like a few Cheerios here and there but that's it. If you mean rice cereal then he hates that junk, lol. I don't blame him.
