Right ladies please can I have your thoughts, my baby girl (5 weeks on Monday) has started randomly bring lots of milk up, since yesterday evening! Not necessarily after a feed could be 2 hours after, she's happy in herself and actually settling loads better in her crib too, it doesn't upset her at all or make her cry either! I actually had to wake her to feed her last night as she'd gone 4.5 hours which she normally goes 3 hours. She seems to have gone back to taking 3oz and was previously starting to drain her 4oz bottles, we were considering going to 5oz but obviously not bothering now. I'm not overly concerned as she's happy in herself I just wondered what you ladies thought, reflux maybe? She's on aptamil comfort milk and has been for two weeks so don't think it's that. Do you think I should just see how she goes this next few days before popping to doctors? Any suggestions/help would be appreciated xxx

Max has done this a few times. I don't rememeber at how many weeks but he'd have a day where he chuck up 1 or 2 bottles. Then a few days nothing. Then he'd chuck up a random bottle. He was fine in every other way. He's generally a sicky baby. Little bits here & there. Anyways I left it a few days seeing how he'd go & he didn't do it again. I think if it was becoming a regular thing I'd take him to the docs & see what they said.

If she seems fine in herself then she could just be a sicky baby :) babies feeding habits change regularly as well xx

You'll know the difference between a sicky baby and reflux ecause with reflux its usually right after every feed and if not right after, for example baby went to sleep after the feed and slept in an upright position but then when woken and laid flat, he will vomit. My LO when lying in bed at night would constantly bring up milk, he was putting on weight he was well in himself, he didn't cry when vomiting. But yet it was constant which informed us it was reflux and after giving gaviscon once it significantly reduced. Also when changing his nappy, he's now 9 weeks and I place a towel at his head nappy changes.

@jodiec, thanks honey, she is tilted anyway in her crib as it's a chicco one, we've just bought all new tomee tippee a to colic bottles so hoping not to have to buy all new ones again lol I'll see how she goes, sounds like lots of babies go through these phases, at least she's not bothered by it herself x

@sara-lou, @daisysmummy @jodiec @noshinxoxo right ladies this last feed at 12 she brought a lot back up too and this time she seemed upset and cried! She also hasn't poo'd since yesterday, but she sometimes does that and poos later in day. I'm more concerned she is bringing up loads of milk! And seemed to cry about it this time? What would you ladies do? We are due to go to family out of town tomoz to show her off and it took ages to agree a date to suit everyone, do you think I should not go and go to docs, or see how she goes? Then go maybe Tuesday to see if it's settled?
