how soon did your baby's umbilical thing fall off? I was told 2-3 weeks but my son's just fell off…

My son's fell off at exactly 1 week.

@mommy_faith, is there a special way to clean the fresh area after it fell off? I can only find stump care, not wound care

just use a wash cloth with warm water and keep it clean but try to keep it dry if not you might need to get silver nitrate treatments like my son did his fell off to early and he had a pink spot for like a month because it was a big pice and they would cover it completely every time.

My doctor told me I could give him a regular bath after, just be careful 😊
