The doctor that delivered my baby for some reason likes to bring up my stretch marks. When I was checked a couple weeks before I went into labor she mentioned how red they were and how far up they went and at my 6 week appt she said that most stretch marks fade pretty quick but that mine were still really bad. Trying hard to love my body but when a professional mentions shit like that it gets to ya. I didn't even gain a ton of weight while pregnant, only 28 pounds.

I've always liked my scars because they told stories and I'm always gettinf told I'm weird lol.. but I dreaded getting stretch marks. not a single one showed up till I was 37 weeks. had my son, and now I love each one of them. It's where my son grew and that's the most amazing story someone can tell. why are stretch marks such a big deal anyways? because the magazines tell us they are? screw those guys

@logibearsmum I only had stretch marks around the scar from belly button piercing but when I traveled to Ohio twice near the end of my pregnancy I ended up with a ton. They didn't bother me until my doctor started saying shit about them.
