I had mine tied when I had my c-section. I don't know if it added healing time to my recovery or not. But I am SOOO glad I did it. I've had no problems at all so far! But I haven't had a period yet either.

the incision sites did not hurt. my shoulder hurt from the gas they use to blow up your stomach to be able to see. I guess that's pretty common for the shoulder pain but I heard some people don't get that. I took my pain meds regularly for the first few days and then as needed.
