blaa did anyone birth a baby at 32 weeks were they ok ? my sons cousin is in labor with preclampsia…

I had my son at 29 weeks due to severe preeclampsia and another issue called HELLP syndrome.

ok ty . jus was making sure i forgot if their lungs were developed at that small . i also had preclampsia but not till later in my pregnancy

I can't remember the threshold for getting the steroid shots for their lungs. She might still qualify to get the shots to help improve baby's lungs.

I had mine at 33 weeks and my son is fine.

yea her mom just told me shes getting those now

i think you're more at risk for preclampsia when youre younger like that shes 19 and i had it with ny first son at 19 but not my second pregnancy

My brother was 32 weeks when they delivered him....he's fine n dandy (26 years old now)

I was in labor at 32 weeks my son had breathing problems first.he was in the NICU for almost 3 weeks and is now a happy and healthy 6 month old!

She will deff have the shots to help the babies lungs. I got those when I was admitted

my niece was born at 27 weeks, spent one month in the NICU and now 5 years later you would never know she was so premature!
