what exactly is it when you get induced ?

your doctor sets up a day at the hospital & you go in and they admit you, then give you medicine in an IV that start your contractions for you to bring the labor on @vanessarazo

so what's the difference between that and normal?

Usually they give you a drug called pitocin through an iv that starts contractions and then at some point if your water doesn't break on it's own they will break your water and usually that makes your baby come @vanessarazo

Yea they won't give you pitocin if your already having regular contractions and labors already starting. And most of the time they don't induce until 41 weeks but they will at 40 if you don't want to wait @vanessarazo
