can i light candles in the room with a newborn? it obviously won't be right next to the baby.

I don't think so, candles give off harsh chemicals that's aren't good for infants and children

I've never heard that. We have one of those melted candle things and we light candles in our living room all the time. We started when autumn was like 3 months old...

I looked it up and it said not to in the room the baby sleeps in. that's really the only room I would light it in. and to use soy candles which I don't understand. @autumnsmomma125

Lol we don't have any candles in our room and that's where she sleeps and i only light them in the living room. But I may look into it to make sure it's not harmful. @ssdj4

My husband has alway lit candles in every room of our house and never heard of that and or harmed my daughter and she is fine done it before she was born and even after.
