cooked sushi is safe. @mynewson2017 you're allowed fish while pregnant. it's healthy. you just have to eat the right kind, in moderation, always cooked. fish is actually great for the baby as long as you only have it once a week. there are charts that will tell pregnant women what's safe & how much.

mercury builds up if eaten in excess. if you only eat small amounts it simply won't build up.

I personally love sardines-- small little fish mean less mercury. I like shrimp, too.

You can have fake sushi rolls with imitation crab... that's all I buy when I crave it from Kroger... they put the ingredients on the packaging so just read it.. if it says cooked or fake crab your good!
