My ex always asks if the baby needs anything.... Idk why he bothers? Because if I tell him anything he doesn't get it any way. It's like he's just trying to look good on paper. My friend who is getting her social work masters and works in that field told me that more than likely that's what he is doing and I should ask him why he doesn't get it so the judge knows on paper he hasn't gotten what I ask for. I'm thinking of just being like no he doesn't need anything my parents are getting it for him. So then he looks like an asshole. Like come on dude step the fuck up 😒 he's never in the wrong though in his eyes.

Be careful saying you don't need his help... that can be used against you. He should be responsible. I would be like, "Yes the baby needs A, B, C, D, etc. but every time you offer and don't provide it doesn't help me so please actually help this time instead of just offer." I work for a judge so just my 2cents

Well this time I was like no my parents are getting him this and that. And then I wrote him a long thing about getting him stuff for Christmas. I told him I could probably get whatever but that he needed to get him anew car seat for when he's bigger and that clothes and toys wouldn't hurt. And I'd let him know whatever else. Like I try to be nice, and not bombard the guy with stuff but the few things u do tell him he needs and he just blows it off like I didn't ask @patti28
