Seriously have no idea what to do with my BABY DADDY. He hasn't seen our daughter in over a month and doesn't ask about her but hell text me to see how I'm doing. I've had enough and don't even make contact with him. Yesterday night I decided to message his mom asking if she could go to the store for me since my daughter is sick so I don't wanna take her out in the cold. She comes down and begins talking and asks what my plans are for the holidays and how I plan to split them with David. Me and his mother don't get along at all and when I did decide to go around her, her dog decided to snap at me while I was holding my daughter so I refuse to go there anymore. She has never acted like a grandma to my daughter but now that holidays are around the corner she wants to be there? I had rules of NO ONE taking pictures of my daughter except me and if I wanted to share them I would. I found out she downloaded drop box and would take pictures of my daughter and save them to drop box and delete them from her gallery. When I first found out I was pregnant both times (first ended in a miscarriage) the first thing she said was "are you sure it's your baby" to her son so we started off very rocky. David doesn't go out of his way to ask about our daughter or even see her. Am I wrong to just have her celebrate her first holidays around positive people (my family) and just leave his family out. NOTE: yesterday when we were talking she started saying how she wants to do her "family traditions" of putting on pajamas, driving around seeing lights and reading the night before Christmas. I'm pissed about this because she had her chance to have her own family traditions with her children and now she wants to act like my daughters mom and treat me like I'm a nanny who she doesn't give a shit about. I take care of my daughter all by myself, buy everything for her, formula, clothes, diapers, bottles, toys etc and I have no help, not even government assistance. I'm not her nanny I AM HER MOTHER. Am I being petty?

I think if he can't make the effort for regular days they don't deserve special days. The only part I think they could consider petty is they can't take photos of her? Not even if they don't post it? Or maybe I misunderstood that part.

@bonniesue, the reason I made the rule of no pictures is because I was and still am TERRIFIED that if I post pictures on social media and for some god forsaken reason she gets kidnapped I'd be to blame for posting them. Also she has friends on her FB that she has no idea who they are. And if I was to say yes you can take pictures she would post them anyways or send them via Text (she has done this already and I found out) she doesn't respect any of my wishes and constantly puts me down for my parenting. my daughter is the happiest baby I have ever met im a damn good mom and I know it but she always downgrades me. one time I was holding my daughter she was about a month old I went to visit his parents and was going to make a bottle for her and his mom pushed me into the couch (WHILE I WAS HOLDING MY DAUGHTER) and tries to take her out of my hands.

Well, as the mom you make the best choices for your child. Obviously they shouldn't push you around, that's crazy. Is he paying child support or has visitation in place? If not, I wouldn't sweat it. Like I said if you don't make an effort on a regular day don't expect special days

@bonniesue, no child support no visitations. I honestly have a gut feeling his mom is going to talk Jim into taking ME to court for custody

Well, I think once he did that it's easy to get child support and if he doesn't want to pay he won't risk taking you to court.

maybe she is just expressing that she wants to be involved. just smile and say 'that sounds nice.' it leaves it open but noncommittal😃

@cherryfield, she had 13 months to want to be apart of my life. and now my daughter is 6.5 months old and she just now wants to be around? Don't think so.
