So what should I expect the first time my SO and I have sex since giving birth and being cut? My 6 week appointment is on Monday and I'm just curious of what to expect.

Maybe this is TMI, but you asked soooo... I'm breast feeding and my dr warned me to use lubricant because bf'ing makes things really dry. And she was right. It was so dry. I wasn't cut, but I tore a bit and had stitches. Everything was healed by that point, and it didn't hurt.

I tore completely, so my experience may not apply to you. I had to take it really slow and with a lot of lube. It hurt like I was a virgin
