I never craved ice. I think it's fine as long as you're still eating food as well. I knew a woman and she only ever had ice. She got very sick.

Oh yeah I definitely still eat food, I just love eating ice for some reason, never even liked it with my son, I hated that they made me eat ice chips at the hospital to get him to move around, but this time around I can't get enough! @bonniesue
