What do you ladies with newborn to 6 weeks babies do when you want to be somewhere but because your…

I actually found that when we were out & about Max would be distracted or asleep in the pram so if he was due a bottle say 3 he'd end up having it bit later once we got in. Or if I thought he wouldn't make it I'd try to feed him a bit earlier before we went out.

Take a flask of hot water with you, a bottle with some cooled boiled water (if on 2oz bottles then prefill to 1oz) then fill to the desired amount. Also take some pre measured out pots of milk with you so you can mix a bottle whilst out.

You can buy tommee tippee flasks and milk pots for this too

@mummyoffour, oh no sorry Hun I'm all prepped feeding when out and about, I've been doing that, I just meant when your due to be somewhere a certain time do you ladies just feed early and risk them not wanting it all, or make them hang on lol the school run would take a lot longer if I drove over and had to feed her in the car before setting back off lol. To be honest she would probably wait as the car rocks her off to sleep etc but then it's delaying her bottle about by half hour, thanks though Hun x

@sara-lou, thanks Hun yeah I think she will be like that, she probs doesn't mind waiting when in car or buggy etc, but won't it mess her times up etc

@mummyoffour, yeah maybe best lol my son is 13 and he can get the bus to school (it's across town) and back but it would be nice while I'm off on maternity if I could pick him up at least xxx

Florence is always due as I'm about to leave for school and when I pick him up but once in the car or pram she stays asleep I've had to feed her in the car once or twice but she mainly stays asleep thankfully x

@jodiec, thanks in past few weeks she's always stayed asleep in car so I guess she would just sleep till half 3 when we get in and I can feed her then, does your Florence (my baby's name too lol) still have her next bottle at same time or a bit later ?

Yeah she will still have the next bottle at the same time she goes to bed at 7.30 so even if she has a bottle earlier or later it doesn't mess up our night routine it's amazing how quickly they adjust to your routines my OH done the first few weeks of school runs so I was so nervous to start because of her routine but it's not that bad

@jodiec, oh that's good to hear thanks Hun, your Florence is 3 weeks ahead of mine so that's lovely to hear. I still can't put her down till after her midnight bottle as she won't settle but I can't wait to get to the point where I can do it earlier lol it gives me hope ha ha
