Have any of you ladies transitioned your little one from co sleeping to their crib? Any advice would…

I would slowing introduce the baby to their crib and room. I would always change my daughter in there before i put her in her crib to get her acclimated. Spend as much time in the room as you can. I just put her in her crib and she now sleeps through the night!!

@spayanes85, she sleeps in bed with us right now, but I'm trying to get her to sleep in her crib. She'll still be in our room, though. I just don't know how to start 🙁

just put her in there!! i think she will do fine, especially since she is in your room still. my daughter has her own room because there is no room in our bedroom.

I started by letting him sleep with my pillow. He liked it so I bought him his own pillow and washed it in my detergent. We co slept for 8 1/2 months and once I did that, he's going on 2 weeks sleeping in his crib, also in my room.

@orionsmomma, that's a really good idea! How do you get him bed, if you don't mind me asking?

He's used to us rocking him to sleep. So, some days he'll fall asleep by himself with a bottle and some days he wants us to rock him.

@tiffany_sanft, no mame. She is a super laid back baby. Hardly cries at all. But i put her in her crib every so often before I just let her sleep in there so she can get used to her surroundings. I was super nervous at first too but i got a angelcare monitor with the senor pad that alerts me if there is no movement for 15 secs. Its a piece of mind but I still get up a couple times a night to check on her.

I think I just need to take the plunge and try. Thank you so much for all the advice. And where did you get your monitor from? I've been looking into something like that, but haven't found anything I liked. Even though she's in the same room, I still get nervous, so I'd love that piece of mind! @spayanes85

@tiffany_sanft, i found ours on Amazon. It was about $80 and i bought the piece of wood for it as well. It really works great and gives u the temp in the room as well. It will all be fine!!! the 1st couple of nights are tough but they are harder on you then its on the baby!! Good luck!

this is the monitor we bought. you can also buy the board to go under the mattress...we did. its been great so far😊😊😊😊
