hi, I am 27 weeks and I have type 1 diabetes the doctor told me I had really high fluids. Is that something to worry my head off about or is it normal?

It can happen with or without the T1D. Typically they just monitor you closely. But I assume you're already being monitored closely? Have you started your Non-Stress tests yet?

No not yet, an yes they have me checking in with them twice a week until they see any changes.

I have gestational diabetes. they will monitor it you'll probably get extra ultrasounds and NSTs

@addie.w, what kind of insulin did they start you on? How are your A1Cs? Glad to hear you're checking in twice a week!

@ash621, they just got me on metformin 500MG right now. So it ain't to bad....
it's just counting my carbs is a struggle to me.

@addie.w, that's good, that's a really small dose. Do they really think it's type 1? It sounds like gestational diabetes. Hopefully that's what it is!

@ash621, it might be. I'm not sure i know I had my glucose test and failed it really bad. so they just put me on this and pricking my finger 4 times a day.
