can anyone who's had a c section give me some advice please? I've got dissolvable stiches and a dressing on my wound, they told me I have to take it off day 5 latest, does it hurt to take off? Or any tips to get it off without it hurting :(

Hey I had mine taken off by the midwife when she visited so I didn't actually take it off my self, honestly though it didn't hurt at all :) the c-section and surrounding area was still numb, most parts still are and in 10 weeks tomorrow x
I had to take it off at the hospital before I left @sommerwills123 and had a midwife with me!! Make sure you have a shower before hand and get it soaking wet, it should lose its stickiness and just peel off! Didn't hurt at all!! Just make sure it's really wet!
Aww bless ya, don't worry you'll be fine. I had mine change twice once while hospital and then a couple of days after we got home. Honest neither time hurt :) xx
