What's the best overnight diapers for a 2 year old? And what's everyone's experience with pull ups…

underwear or go naked. they look at pull ups as just another diaper.

@nicemmcha2015, That's what I was thinking, because they look just like diapers so it could confuse them & then they think it's okay to just go in them. But I've heard mixed reviews, so I figured I would ask!

@butterfli_luv, Wow! 16 months, that's great! I'll probably just let him go naked or undies, I don't know about the whole bed thing though because he sleeps with me since my husband works night shift (bad habit, I know. I just can't help myself 🙈🙈)

@butterfli_luv, Did you teach him to stand up or sit down to pee? I've never potty trained anyone before so I don't know what I'm doing really lol I didn't know if trying to teach him to stand up would confuse him when he has to poo & is sitting down would confuse him in the future

i trained my son at 2 I would put him in underwear all day ask him ever 5 mins if he needed to potty. put pulls on him at night and of course for a nap. he was trained in 3 days

@lenabell713, did you teach him to stand up or set down to pee? My main problem is my son thinks his potty is a toy. He'll play with it, take it apart, etc 😕

yea my son did to so that's why I used the regular toilet

@ellieinmybelly, Sorry! I deleted it because I kinda figured it was a stupid question haha but I'll definitely try that! Like I said, sometimes he like to sit next to me & point to things. But he get distracted so easily it's hard to get him to actually listen

@butterfli_luv, I usually take him to the bathroom with me anyways because since I'm a stay at home mom by myself while hubby is either at work or sleeping I don't trust him to not get into things or mess with his little brother while I'm in the bathroom haha! But everything time we're in there & he hears me pee he gets excited for me & starts clapping 😂 So I'm hoping that a good sign that he knows what he's supposed to do!

@lenabell713, Did you have a step stool or anything for him to be able to sit on the big potty? And did you have the toddler potty seat on it?

um NO I didn't I pick the toilet seats up and told him potty on the water

@nicemmcha2015, @butterfli_luv @lenabell713 Girls, he just used the potty all by himself! I put his potty in the bathroom so he wouldn't be tempted to play with it & let him run around naked. Well a few minutes ago he just looked down at his winky so I asked him "you gotta go potty?" And he ran straight to the bathroom, sit on his potty & peed!!! I'm so proud of him, I almost cried ☺️😭

@lenabell713, I'm very excited! Never in a million years did I think I would be so happy & proud that someone peed in the toilet 😂 I'm hoping he does good because I'm a stay at home mom so we're here all the time so we have plenty of time to get it down! Lol

Yea I am too so it was very easy for me but I did also let him know if he used it in his pants he was gonna get in trouble
