QUESTION!!!
My 5 Year Old Son Has A Earache Mostly At Night Along With Coughing Like He's Congested. He Also Woke Up This Morning With Crust In Ears Like His Ears Were Draining In The Middle Of The Night. He Doesn't Have A High Fever Though But Isn't Acting Like Himself At All. Should I Take Him To The ER To See What's Going On? I'm Kind Of Worried. 😔

He could have an ear infection. Take him in they will give him antibiotics.

Yes he doesn't necessarily have to have a fever to have a ear infection

@queen_of2, yes he can a fever is not necessary. My son never gets fever with his ear infections and he gets them very often.

@queen_of2, yes definitely take him my son didn't have a fever he would just cry his ear hurts come to find out he had a double ear infection
