Hey Everyone. Im new to this app and wanted to introduce myself to all you beautiful mammas out there. My name is Lindsy and Im from the Sf bay area. I am expecting my first baby in feb. and I'm 26 weeks pregnant. Ive had some very tragic events take place since I found out I was pregnant and am always looking for new friends and support because Ive been having a difficult time through out this journey. My fiance and unborn babies father was killed by the Hayward police department 3 months ago. He was shot in the head and died on August 17th... and his death is still under 3 different investigations in Alameda county California . Since then my world has come crashing down around me and the struggle has been real. I found myself lost and my life spinning out of control after loosing him and decided to check myself into an addiction and mental health prenantal program. Getting sober, grieving, and preparing to be a first time mother has been tough battle, but with time im slowly building acceptance with what has happened and have started my healing process. Im scared to be a single mom and do this with out my babies father and am looking for more people i can talk to about baby stuff in my support system. I know I will have tons of questions. Im choosing to share my story just incase there is anyone else out there that is going thru the same thing or can relate. I hope to make some new friends along my pregnacy journey. GEEZ! i know I just wrote a lot. I just needed to vent a bit too. Hope everyone has a great night. 💓 PS My baby is very active tonight. I Love feeling him move.
