I don't baby talk babies lol only my cats. My brother always looked at people strange when someone baby talked him! lol I learned at a young age.

I change how I talk to him. sometimes it's normal sometimes it's baby. it just depends on my mood, his mood, etc.

@princessmama, I just never did lol like I never cooed or any of that stuff. My son laughs when people try to baby talk him.

My sister and I have always debated on this topic each parent is different there is no right or wrong for me its baby talk all day everyday. For my sister she hated it I was the only person she allowed to talk to her kids like that and she would always say if we lived in same town and seen each other on daily basis I would have to talk normal🙄 anyways my theory is they are only little once and obviously when they r in first and second grade ur not going to still be says boo boo boo I'm gonna get ya kissy kissy I have the same theory for rocking a baby when they r too big to fit in ur lap to rock u will be wishing they were small again. Now that my sis kids are older and I have the little baby she realizes they grow to fast and she's the one doing it to my son. But I do agree the baby is gonna like what's it's used to hearing. It's like ur training them to hear what u want them to like. Same as other lady says about her cats I bet if she talks normal to those cats they will be like what the heck my dogs r same way u have to use a high pitched silly voice or my dog looks at u like what?? Unless they r n trouble I use the mean voice haha
